Dear Friends,
The news comes so fast and furious that often by the time I have figured out something to say about recent events that might possibly be insightful or helpful, it’s old news already, swept out of the headlines by the next injustice or outrage. But a good song can cover a lot of territory, so I decided to offer you one that speaks to me deeply: When I’m Gone, by Phil Ochs (1966).
May it speak to you as well, and strengthen your spirit.
With love,
Rabbi Jonathan Kligler
